Barbara Merzuk

Barbara did her studies in Russia, where she got her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in nuclear and particle physics in Lomonosov Moscow State University. In 2021 she started a PhD in attosecond physics here, in the research group headed by Prof. Giuseppe Sansone at the University of Freiburg. Since January 2022 she is a member of the “Research Training Group (RTG)”. Her work focuses on the investigation of ultrafast electronic dynamics in small molecules using reaction microscope for performing coincidence experiments with attosecond pulses with high repetition rates.
