Complex Attosecond Waveform Synthesis at FEL FERMI

In 2020, we for the very first time demonstrated the generation and characterization of the attosecond pulse trains at the seeded free-electron laser (FEL) FERMI. Our new results published in applied sciences (https://www.mdpi.com/2076-3417/11/21/9791), we demonstrated the complex shaping of the electric field of the generated attosecond pulses of the FERMI FEL. The results makes it possible to produce programmable attosecond pulses, which are essential for controlling dynamics in matter. Find out more about the exciting new results at (https://www.mdpi.com/2076-3417/11/21/9791).
